Based in the South West UK
for all your race car and chassis needs
Merv Barnett has now built jigs to fabricate a front independant
suspension. The first one is destined for Mike Taylor's Willys, and
then Rod Rich's '39 will be updated with the second.

The tubular arms are all tig-welded by us and use urethane bushes and screw-in
top and bottom ball joints. Tubes are 1" o.d. and are 1/4" wall for extra
strength.

The top arms are fully adjustable for caster and camber using a direct into tube
5/8" unf thread.
Merv will be offering anything from a set of arms to a complete front end in the near future.

We made this engine test rig for the VW flat four.
Using an old cut down bell housing to mount the engines.
Our customer has a couple of Fugitive rails and three or
four engines, so he can now get them up and running properly
before fitting them.

Lawrence Farr's 'Project 55' is now back with him in sunny south Wales.

Here's the finished exhaust system ready to bolt in after much welding.

The huge radiator had to be modified to fit the hoses to the water pump,
the intercooler pipework takes up a lot of engine bay space!
I also mounted the A/C condensor onto the rad, it's a tight fit with the
bonnet release.

The dipstick tube for the trans had to be specially fabricated to snake its way
past the new headers.

I made up this manifold to pick up various vacuum signals
from the low pressure side of the Pro-Charger.
I had to roll up the 3 3/4" tubing from flat Aluminium sheet as it was
difficult to find suitable ready made tube.

Project 55 ready to drive!
As I was banned from being the first one to drive it, I still had to push it out
to the trailer before Lawrence drove it into his garage back in Wales.
Lawrence's grin when he first drove it was as wide as that grille!
I wish I'd thought to take a picture!

The ever popular 'Bristol Functional' powerglide shifter from Zannetec has
now been added to our inventory. We have always fitted these
on our own chassis and our customers have been very happy
with the ease of operation and super slim design.
The shifters are available in basic form for £75.00 and can be
supplied with air shifter ram attatchment if needed. These are not a
universal fit so if you're interested please email to discuss requirements
